Holly Baumgart is the VP Information Technology at Sargento Foods Inc.; a leading manufacturer, packager and marketer of natural shredded, sliced and snack cheeses and cheese-based products in the U.S. Holly is responsible for all aspects of Information Technology at Sargento, including systems, organization and enterprise business technology planning. She is passionate about bringing this renown $1.3 billion privately-held company to the forefront of digital innovation. Prior to joining Sargento Foods, Holly worked for Harley-Davidson Motor Company where she was responsible for IT at 23 offices and plants worldwide. Holly started her career as a CPA at Ernst & Young where she advised over 50 companies on IT Security and Risk Management. Holly graduated from the University of Illinois with an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems. She earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Notre Dame. Holly also obtained her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Holly is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree from Harvard University in Sustainability. Holly serves on the Board of Directors of Chicago Commons, a large non-profit serving the needs of families in inner-city communities. She is also a founding member of Feeding Mouths, Filling Minds; a startup non-profit which builds sustainable water sources for orphanages in Africa. Outside of the office, Holly is an adventure traveler who has visited more than 80 countries. She loves food, wine, culture and of course, cheese. Holly is a mother of a spunky two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Londyn. She believes that women in tech really can have it all.
